A street turned completely into a colorful open garden at Spring's peak, right in the middle of Madrid's most famous two indulgent avenues? Yes, please– anytime, always! This was actually a real daydream carried through by Vogue Spain, who keeps coming up with the most hip open events year-round for all fashion & chic living lovers in the city. I, of course, intend not to miss any of them. This year the stylish calendar plan started by making the most out of a sunny, warm Spring Saturday and bringing life to Jorge Juan street, which already has charm on its own due to its unique restaurants, terraces and prestigious shops. Sunglasses on, camera in hand, my friend Maca and I made our way to the blossoming scene, instantly falling in love in every corner. Over 27 local flower shops, fashion and lifestyle brands set up their garden booths in open air, creating dozens of picture perfect sceneries and filling the air with fresh aromas. Shop for bouquets, then brunch if you wanna, have mimosas if you'd prefer. I photographed inevitably, while Maca gazed and wondered, then treated ourselves with a glass of perfectly suited
tinto de verano. Madrid, all flowers imaginable, and a dose of Vogue living. Talk about the perfect Spring afternoon. What's not to love?
